Hair Loss and Natural Support with Essential Oils

Hair loss often stems from hormonal imbalances, like increased testosterone, or autoimmune conditions like alopecia areata. Essential oils can cleanse, nourish, and strengthen hair follicles, while specific oils like rosemary are known to promote hair growth.

Recommended Essential Oils:

  • 🌿 Rosemary: Encourages hair growth.
  • 🌿 Lavender: Soothes and nourishes the scalp.
  • 🌿 Cedarwood: Balances oil production.
  • 🌿 Sandalwood: Adds moisture and strength.
  • 🌿 Clary Sage: Supports hormonal balance.

Hair Loss Prevention Blends:

Blend 1:

  • 3 drops rosemary
  • 5 drops lavender
  • 4 drops cypress
  • 2 drops clary sage
  • 2 drops juniper

Add 10 drops to 1 tsp fractionated coconut oil. Massage into balding areas and scalp nightly.


Blend 2:

  • 10 drops cedarwood
  • 8 drops rosemary
  • 10 drops sandalwood
  • 10 drops lavender

Blend 3:

  • 6 drops rosemary
  • 8 drops ylang ylang
  • 12 drops cedarwood
  • 12 drops clary sage

Topical Application:

  • Dilute blends 50-50 with a carrier oil.
  • Massage 1 tsp into scalp thoroughly for 2-3 minutes.
  • Leave on for 60-90 minutes, ideally during exercise to boost circulation.

For washing: Mix 2-4 drops of essential oils with 1-2 tsp shampoo after treatment.
