Dealing with motion sickness can really throw a wrench in things at the wrong time, causing symptoms of nausea, dizziness, fatigue, and even vomiting. It’s the body’s response to real or perceived movement. Our inner ears sense movement while our eyes tell us that we’re standing still, which confuses the brain and causes a rise in dopamine levels. Essential oils can be used to both treat the symptoms and help prevent motion sickness. Lavender especially can be added to any blend or oil you choose to use for additional help.
