CA expemptions
Hi, my child is about to start 7th grade in CA and I am searching for an exemption or way out of needing to get the vaccine that the school/state is requiring. My child had an IEP for speech when he was younger but that ended a couple years ago, I wish I had known then what I know now and not agreed to let it go. I have been searching through your resources here but I’m not finding exactly what I need. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

CA and NY are really rough. A medical exemption is all but impossible to get, as the state has basically threatened doctors with their license for providing them. Legally a religious exemption is the strongest, however in those states it is still an uphill battle. Getting your child out of the system has never been more important!

Thanks so much for your response and help. Unfortunately pulling them out of the system isn’t an option right now.
