• Chronic cough

Posted by Teresa Arnold on November 13, 2023 at 12:25 pm

My 10 year old son has had a cough for going on a month now. It started out with other cold symptoms but those went away quickly. The cough just lingers. I have tried oils and supplements, detox baths and I am getting so discouraged. He definitely coughs more with activity and the cough is affecting his sleep. I have been avoiding the doctor because I don’t want him on steroids or antibiotics. Please help!

Hi mama, you’re in the right place.  Have you checked out any of the course info? Is he wheezing? What oils have you used and how often/how? The key to oils is to use them often and in abundance.  Ningxia and mightypro daily would also be helpful. Thieves cough drops are also really useful on the go.

You can also try this RSV protocol please only use YL oils

Wonderful information! Thank you! I have never purchased Melissa oil but will add that to my next order.

With all the oils listed to help with breaking up mucus… are you just rubbing them over the chest?

It depends -some listed are for diffusing, especially at night in their room is helpful. You can always apply oils neat or in a carrier to their chest and back or bottoms of feet, and some are listed for rectal administration in case of quick relief needed. Oils can also be taken in a capsule
