• Crohns Disease

My 77 year old mother was just diagnosed with Crohns Disease. She has been pretty miserable for about 2 months now. She would love some natural ways to cope with Crohns. Her doctor wants to put her on meds. She would love to avoid that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

That is tough at any age! I would attack this in the same way I mentioned for IBS in the comment below -work on detox, and then healing the gut -this will also positively affect cognition which is important as we age. Links are below to some of the courses that will provide TONS of info -but you can also go into courses and browse or use the search feature and type in Gut to start

Thank you! The doctor has since found that it is colitis, not Crohns. They put her on a steroid and told her to avoid gluten free foods. I’m so confused. She is going to try acupuncture and look at some more natural solutions but she is also taking the doctors advice. I will continue searching the warrior center for more answers to healing the gut.
