My 17 year old daughter has struggled with sebhorric dermatitis on her face for many years. It’s so hard to treat because it appears as acne (and is probably mixed in with acne), but needs to be treated differently than acne. I feel like we have tried every clean product out there, but any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Check our Froya organics. I’ve had great success with my skin using this company.

Skin issues are rarely due to topical issues, though exposure to toxic ingredients like fragrance and drug store lotions or makeup can certainly make it worse. How is her diet? Is she on a quality probiotic? What, if any, supplements does she take? Is she in any sports?

I’m not going to lie, she’s a horrible eater! If I could get her to eat better, I would. We have tried for years haha She takes a multivitamin and a probiotic from llama naturals. She plays sports off and on, and is currently taking a break. In the past, I’ve been able to help her control it, but it is never fully clear. When it flares up, it’s just very red. She doesn’t really use any makeup or lotions or perfumes. The only products she uses are from clean skincare lines with no fragrances.

Well, if she believes it to be a problem, then perhaps she will have buy in on a clean diet. There are no magic wands for clear skin when we ingest toxic processed products routinely. In the courses section there is a Keto course, and a GAPS diet course -GAPS would be a fantastic way to reset her system, however at her age it needs to be spearheaded by her. Ningxia daily mixed with sulfurzyme, and Life9 in the evenings will help -but it is an uphill battle without cleaning up intake.
