• Back Pain/Disc Problem/Nervous System

Hi! Totally new here, and I’m not even sure if I’m doing this right. About three weeks ago I had a great workout that included RDLs and some extension/reaching ab exercises. For two days afterwards, my hamstrings were super tender and tight. Two days later, suddenly my back seized up and has been an aching, throbbing mess ever since. I’ve seen my chiropractor, who did some traction stuff, my pelvic floor therapist, who released my tight pelvic floor (that hasn’t been tight in a while til this), and saw my fascial release guy who worked on the front of my hips, and gave me some relief, but then it came roaring back. Everyone keeps telling me it’s an unhappy disc and the muscles around it are just trying to hold it in place until it calms back down. I’m at a loss. I’m a 36yo mom of a 7yo and 4yo twins, and I can’t just lay around waiting for it to resolve. We’re on week three and I don’t know if I should get an MRI (although my providers say it doesn’t matter where the issue is, the treatment is still the same, and it’s a very common injury) or something else? The thought of being stuck and in pain like this forever (not being able to do basic household chores or pick up my kids, let alone homeschool and run my homestead) totally melted my nervous system down and I’ve been in an on-and-off panic attack for nearly a week because of it. I’m truly just at a loss. My mom has a bad back (degenerative spine stuff, contributed to by gymnastics and long distance running her entire life/in college), my sister has like a fused vertebrae at the base of her spine that causes her constant pain, and I’m terrified that I somehow got pushed into that category, just over a simple workout that I was doing to try to STRENGTHEN my body for my life. I’m frustrated, overwhelmed, and truly just spinning out. My spine doesn’t hurt at all, but my sacrum and hips ache so bad, just like back labor, and I can’t sit much, let alone get any sleep. I’m spending all of my time on my stomach on the floor in a gentle sphinx to try to give that disc room to slide back in, or on my back in a chair position with a heating pad under my back. I’m popping type 2 collagen and need to start back on some sulfurzyme, but I guess I’m just looking for any advice or help of any type because I don’t know where else to turn. I’ve used the YL CBD cream, which helped a ton with my hip and sciatica issues during twin pregnancy but isn’t even making a dent now, and I’ve even broken all my rules and been popping ibuprofens to try to get enough relief to sleep, but nothing is doing anything. Any thoughts? I haven’t stopped crying in more than a week and I’m desperate to get back to my life with my babies and to give my incredible rock of a husband a break, since he’s been both mom and dad and housekeeper and cook for the last 2-3 weeks. Thank you so much.

Hello! You are def on the right track of things you are exploring. I don’t think you need an MRI, rather some pelvic floor therapy can def help. Also Pilates. On a reformer. Hip openers at home as well. I do have some exercise info in the hormone masterclass you can put to use as well. For supplements I would so 4-5 agilease a day and 3-4 BLM also the inner beauty collagen and creatine (get the liposomal creatine from my full script link above)

Panaway on the area as much as you can. You cannot overdo it. And also don’t forget the role of progessence plus its makes a huge impact in this as well.
